A firefighter walks away from a pile of burning plastic pallets as others continue battling the flames at a multiple alarm fire Thursday at Morton Welding in Morton. Witnesses believe something caused the pallets to ignite, which then caused containers of liquid propane to explode, sending plumes of black smoke over the town that were visible miles away from Peoria.
