F. Scott's Whiskey Bar & Grill on SW Jefferson Avenue will be closing on February 15 due to a dispute between bar owner J.M. "Sully" Sullivan and the building's owner over the repair of the building's sinking foundation, which would require the bar to close for a period of months. Sullivan, who has owned the Cheers style bar and restaurant in downtown Peoria for 6 years, says he will reopen elsewhere, possibly outside of Peoria. DAVID ZENTZ/JOURNAL STAR
