Wishing for Independence
Jake Grys, 7, has a rare form of osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bone disorder, a genetic disorder characterized by bones that break easily. His family is hoping to get the TV show Extreme Home Makeover to help remodel their home in Pekin, which is largely inaccessible to him as he is less than 30-inches tall and needs a wheelchair.
