Eponymous surprise
A large crowd of friends and family gather around neighborhood activist Frank Lewis, 64, at a surprise dedication ceremony of the Frank D. Lewis Park at the corner of Wayne and NE Monroe Streets Thursday afternoon. Lewis, who is terminally ill with pancreatic cancer, was overcome with emotion throughout the ceremony as individuals took turns sharing their thanks with him for his dedication to the community.
