AIDS memorial
Awilda Pagan of Galesburg and Sharon Canty observe in silence as the names of individual from the area who have died of AIDS are read off at the 24th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial for AIDS Awareness at the Liberty Park Gazebo in Peoria Sunday evening. The event was sponsored by the Illinois Friends of People with AIDS and was attended by about 50 people.
