AIDS memorial
Michael Maginn, executive director of Central Illinois Friends of People with AIDS, prays with about 50 others gathered for the 24th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial for AIDS Awareness at the Liberty Park Gazebo in Peoria Sunday evening. The event was sponsored by the Illinois Friends of People with AIDS and is intended to raise awareness and remember those who have died from the disease. DAVID ZENTZ/JOURNAL STAR
