Itty bitty baby
With the reflection of her parents, Joe and Amanda Pickens, looking on from outside her incubator, tiny Ariana Nicole Pickens sleeps at the Children's Hospital of Illinois at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Ariana, who weighed only 12.6 ounces when she was born prematurely in December, now weighs about 2 pounds. Her parents hope to take her home in a month or two. DAVID ZENTZ/JOURNAL STAR
