Justification for a Wrong Turn
While working on an unrelated story, I took a wrong turn when leaving. The folks I'm doing the story on had been teasing me about never knowing where anything is since I'm new to town. Thinking they might be driving out behind me, I quickly began looking for a way to justify my goof. "I just turned that way to photograph that balloon against the beautiful sky," I'll say to them if they happen to mention it.
