Jerry Lay, 58, a retired Army helicopter pilot who served in both Vietnam and again in the latest war in Iraq, is seen outside of his personal hangar at home in Minonk, Ill., with an Enstrom F28 1978 helicopter he was repairing for a customer on Wednesday, August 2, 2007.
