Jerry Lay, 58, a retired Army helicopter pilot who served in both Vietnam and again in the latest war in Iraq, is seen in his personal hangar at home in Minonk, Ill., with a Hughes TH55 1964 helicopter he was repairing for a customer on Wednesday, August 2, 2007.
