George Barett, 69, rides down route 24 South on the back of a Harley Davidson driven by John Long, president of the Peoria chapter of the Blue Knights motorcycle club, on Tuesday evening, fulfilling Barrett's wish for one last ride on a motorcycle before he dies. Community Hospices of America teamed up with the club and Barrett's family in a surprise granting of his wish. "I'd like ot say if it measures between a one and a 10, I'd give it a 20," Barrett said of his ride. DAVID ZENTZ/JOURNAL STAR
